Background

Rey Za Burrel was seen to be a gentleman in every way. He was a cool-headed and polite tactician. He is surprisingly mature for his very young age. The cool and aloof demeanor is frequently mistaken for anti-socialness. His loyalty is unquestionable to those who knew him and trust was something that held very dearly. He never knew his parents but they had left him a vast inheritance that he could not touch until he turned to the legal age of eighteen. In the meantime, Rau Le Creuset, his older brother who had taken another name, took care of everything. Gilbert Durandal acted as their guardian for a while. He was a close friend of the family and the father that Rey never had.

Rey was sick. Gravely sick and a lot of doctors suspect that he did not have very long to live. He was given special drugs just to survive and live everyday like a normal student but the drugs was only going to slow down the symptoms. At first glance, his illness wasn't at all obvious since he always acted like everything was fine. He already accepted his fate and dedicated his life to serving Durandal and Rau. While he still had time, he planned to study to be a doctor and study his own illness to save others from suffering what he had.

His world was completely average before he met his current girlfriend, Lunamaria Hawke. Their meeting was not a very romantic one at all. Rey joined a group date against his will. His classmates needed at least one good-looking guy to be there. When he got there, he meets the almost too hyper, Lunamaria. At first, he wasn't interested. He wasn't really into dating but a lot of things happened "that night" that lead them to a relationship. Rest assured, nothing too bad happened. In a way, it was Rey's strong sense of responsibility that saved her but also got him into a lot of trouble. Lunamaria had a talent of getting him into a lot of trouble that he had to use connections and money to get out of.

Ever since, she has done everything possible to drive him crazy with her unpredictable antics. Actually, he's fighting for a little normalcy and that was something that Lunamaria was making sure not to happen. She was determined to drive him crazy...
